Just curious, what does the gun look like with the magwell removed? Does it mess up the look in any way?

If you were buying the LCR today for Conceal Carry only. Which caliber would you choose? Was hell bent on 9 now I'm not sure.

My p238 is the desert version and it has a plastic trigger.

The thing about 1911s is that if you have a good gunsmith he can easily tune up the trigger to basically however you want it.

It has become one of my carry favorites with civil defense . The trigger and total performance really fall in love with it . I’m not a striker fire fan overall but from the first pull I was sold on this platform. Found one used at store for half price

Yeah. It’s called a break in period… springfields, colt, dan wesson, hell nighthawk even has a 500 round break in period. Give it a break. Lol

SW has a better trigger, you can brake the SW trigger in were you can fire in double action with the control and site in as a single action weapon....You can NOT do this with this weapon, Ruger LCR.......that was your first mistake, previewing a firearm you know nothing about....

PRPER GRIP B/S...THAT IS A LIGHT GUN, YOU CAN NOT SHOOT A STEADY DIET OF +P AMMO, YOUR HAND WILL HURT, THIS IS NOT a target weapon....it is a carry weapon for self defense, you practice with non +P ammo Only fire +P ammo so you do not get surprised with the very strong recoil from that round........Practice with light recoil ammo....

I would carry a sig p230 before I would ever carry this.

The gentleman mentioned price point which is very true. Why is it a very expensive $3-4K plus Wilson Combat 1911 is very reliable compared to a RIA? However, I’ve owned a rock bottom Springfield Armory 1911 government model that will take almost any kind of 45ACP ammo shoved into it. Maybe I just got lucky? You might say. I don’t have the answer.

Operator error

Some people prefer a striker fired pistol. I have the p938, the P229, a Beretta 92 compact, I prefer an SA/DA. For concealed carry it's hard to beat the P938.

This gun can shoot 38 special and 357 mag right?

Don't forget, this gun was designed over a hundred years ago, before anyone thought of dynamic pistol matches. BTW, Slide lock: you have to use an empty mag to get it to lock. And a black gun on a black background is poor choice for us to see what you're doing.

I have a PPK from pre-WW2, and love it. It's small & very concealable, and unlike modern small handguns, it doesn't have a square slide with awkward corners and sticky-out controls that jab into your back when carried IWB. Yet - it's reliable, and the double-action is heavy but smooth... so easy to shoot. Sights are a bit small, though, but normal for 1920-1930s design.

I carry the P220, 10mm Match Elite and I've used it to put down a black bear that charged a friend and I. My P220 is the most impressive firearm I've owned. Great video, thank you.

You are very lucky in America to be able to have guns for home protection, we in the UK can’t, if we did there would be a shortage of home break-ins, but we now have to use want ever comes to hand , we are not allowed to use a weapon at all, the police hear are not interested in breaking and robbers, not worth the paper work, but if you do happen to end a burglary progress,and he or her is killed, you might as walk in to jail,because you are not going to to get away with self defending your life or property.

i bought one 4 years ago....i have not had any problem with it....i have bought 4 10round magazine i bought them before they could be ban.....the low price is what convinced me to buy the gun.....this is the only 9mm i have....

5/2024 Retired LE with Arthritic wrists...I carried 1911a .45 my whole life. Can't easily rack it anymore. Bought a Performance Center EZ silver...... Pro Mag makes 10 & 12 rd mags. This is a game changer. Absolutely love mine

Just bought a Q4 and installed the overwatch precision flat trigger. I also have a plastic Walther ppq with apex flat trigger. While the Q4 was fine my ppq was just as good. The felt recoil was not any different between the two. Both triggers were great like the apex a little better but shoots fine

After completing the new frame change, I have noticed a slight gap between the slide & frame, and onr end of both I am able to push down on the end similar to how Glocks will move in the same area. Is this normal, for on the polymer frame I do not experience this?

I have two of these, and even as someone who cut my teeth on Smith & Wesson revolvers, I sometimes have that issue with not letting the trigger go forward far enough This is because the cam system that makes the trigger pull smoother and lighter also makes it longer, it's a trade-off I am getting better at that This is why old Mr Bianchi used to tell people ' 1 gun, 1 holter, all the time'

I want to justify spending nearly $600 slide to add to my sig which already costed roughly $1200 with transfer, optic and grip module. That’s a $1,800 gun.

I love the gun I have the hellcat pro but there is one thing I don’t like and that is the trigger pull it is to hard for my like but over all love it
